In Toronto!!!

I arrived yesterday from Boston and now I am in Toronto. I took the literacy test today and it was easy. Super easy. Crazily easy. I aced it. 100%. Ok maybe a little less.

But anyway, today I went with my sister to buy things for my room. We did that and I got myself acquainted with the school and got my papers in order an all that jazz. And that’s practically it. I’ll take a picture of my room soon and put it up here. Its not that bad. A little on the small side but hey, so is Choon How (very small chipmunk) and I still love him.

So its 6 PM now and Chu and the Gang must all still be asleep now. Chu Hon, you must be dreaming of heaven. By that I mean me!!!

Leaving For Toronto

Hey Chu Hon, soccer gang, 4/1 gang, choonhow gang, daryl gang, wenjie gang and the chairman Tan. Its 8 40AM and I am gonna be leaving soon for Toronto. Incredible. The flights a short one, and can be compared to 92’s route in Ghim Moh area.

So I’l be in Canada later today. Gonna go to my school and move in to my room. I’ve got an exam to take tomorrow. So wish me luck, buggers!

So not much to talk about now but when I reach Canada, I’ll make a nice little video called; Saiful In Canada. So look out for that.

Nothingness!

Not much happened today. I went to the big library in Newton and read some books on religion and philosophy. Then I got tired and went back. But not before eating! EATING!

At home, I began preparing for my Literacy Test (to be taken on the 29th). It’s gonna be a piece of cake.  Later at night I cut my sisters fiancee’s hair. And then after that I put some mask on. Good for skin, apparently.

No wonder I am lost in HK!

4 Days To Canada

Today nothing much happened. I went to the library, read Oscar Wilde. Time flies when you read. God, nothing happened today! And now here I am writing about nothing. This is detrimental for the popularity of this blog. Not that it was ever very popular.

But atleast, unlike Chu Hon, I am regularly updating my blog. At least! Anyway on the way home from the library, I saw a statue of a friend of mine. I took a picture of this magnificent structure.

In Boston

Hey everybody, I am in Boston now. Just arrived yesterday. Well I did nothing yesterday but sleep and eat some pizza. Talk about unhealthy! Anyway on the plane from London to Boston, I sat beside a Jewish Israeli woman and we spoke about many things including the Arab-Israeli conflict and Nazi Germany. It was an interesting discussion.

I woke up at nearly 12 PM today. I have got to be over the jetlag by now. It’s 3 PM now and I will probably be going out soon to get some groceries because my sisters apartment does not have the good stuff.

Anyway, I am starting to miss the gang and I know they miss me blind!

Zai Jian Xīn Jiā Pō, Bonjour Canada

I am leaving for Canada tomorrow night. And I will not return to the great nation of Singapore for about a year. This fact has brought much sorrow to Chu Hon.

His kooky smile hides his obvious pain!

And well myself, I am a little sad to leave such a great community of friends which include people like Choon How and Yong Liang, Daryl and Wen Jie. People like Edwin and Choon How. And ofcourse Choon How.

But this niggling sensation of sorrow, I will push out of my heart and plough on. This is the first step in my life towards my ultimate goal of becoming BIG. And big, I will become. But I will never forget my friends. For they have been and will always be with me every step of the way.

Anyway I have to go and finish packing. I hope to be able to go to my old school and see my former teachers one more time.

Dinner at Fatty Yong’s Eating House!

I got back quite awhile ago from a little casual dinner thrown by the maestro himself, everyone’s favorite chairman; Tan Yong Liang! Yong Liang should go pro because he cooks magically well… with some help ofcourse but who doesn’t need help.

Daryl, Choon How and Chu Hon came as well and ravaged Yong’s masterpiece pizza. And a lot of funny things happened but I am too lazy to talk about them. So here are some pictures:

Music and Lyrics

Wow! Just watched Music and Lyrics with the gang and its brilliant. Hugh Grant, as always, provides the goods and delivers a stunning performance leaving the entire cinema in stiches! For Choon How it was love at first sight when he say Hugh Grant shaking his fine butt in the opening scene. And for me it was pure bliss.

This movie was funny. And I mean really funny. It was hilarious. It was hysterical. It was magnificent. As majestic as Chu Hon the warriorman.

Outing…

Today was an interesting day of many happenings. I met up with ex-classmates at Ghim Moh and we spent the day walking, talking, eating and taking pictures at VivoCity. All of us meeting up for one final time, not knowing what the future holds. Not knowing what the world has instore for us. Brimming with hope, youthful exhuberance, we all readily exchanged our dreams for the future. But only time will tell.

We had a great time, laughing and playfully chatting, but then why do I feel an ever growing sensation of sorrow? Perhaps it’s the fear of the unknown in which we will all be plunging into. Perhaps it is the fear of the known which I avoid and yet crave. I don’t know. But I know one thing, whatever the fates have conspired for me, I will survive. Because that’s all I know.

Gym…

Went to the gym today with Chu Hon at about 12 PM. Choon How, after complaining about being too busy the night before, joined us after awhile. We did some funny stuff, used the elliptical machine and went home. But not before going to Daryl’s house. So yes, not a very exciting day by my standards. I have standards?
